We honor the spirit and legacy of our beloved Suzy McGrane by assisting and supporting breast cancer patients from diagnosis to remission.
SOS provides financial support to patients and families who are battling breast cancer so they can focus on hope and healing.
We help patients cover the critical areas that insurance companies do not.
We provide financial assistance to those with everyday needs such as wigs, prosthetics, childcare, gas cards, utility bill assistance, medication assistance and more.

Each year, The Daniel Island Club presents a golf, tennis, and pickleball tournament to benefit local breast cancer patients. This year's event was on Monday, October 16. For more information, contact Lori Bayer at loribayer@icloud.com or Bonnie Hancock at bhmatchpoint@aol.com.
Every January, the Black & White Gala kicks off the year for SOS Lowcountry. Held at one of the Lowcountry’s most beautiful venues, we gather to dance, nosh, catch up with old friends and new, and most importantly, raise money to fund our patient outreach. Our board of directors and volunteers could not pull off this event without the help of our amazing sponsors. We rely on their generosity to drive this one-of-a-kind event. Please get in touch with us for more information.
Also, the SOS Memorial Day party is an annual event each May at a local outdoor venue featuring live music and local cuisine. One of our original SOS Lowcountry events, friends, patients, and the community look forward to the spring party.
Pink in the Rink is a long-term partnership between SOS Lowcountry and the Charleston Stingrays. Once a year, the ice turns pink as we honor those in our families who fight breast cancer. We honor patients all throughout the Lowcountry with testimonials and an honor wall for those we love and have lost. Pink in the Rink rounds out our three main annual fundraising events.
