A breast cancer patient’s medical team may contact the foundation requesting assistance.
Friends and family may refer a breast cancer patient who lives in Berkeley, Charleston, or Dorchester County. Patients who are currently in active treatment may also apply directly for support through the Assistance tab.
The potential recipient must presently be treated by a healthcare provider who is informed about the patient’s condition. Potential recipients must be in active treatment for breast cancer and must either reside in or be receiving treatment in the Tri-County area of SC (Berkeley, Charleston, or Dorchester County). Confirmation of active treatment from the patient’s healthcare provider is required. This information is strictly confidential and is used to determine how to best serve the request of the patient.
Anyone may sponsor a patient: a family member, a friend, a church group, or a neighbor. Please be aware, again, that we will need verification of the of the patient’s medical treatment.
